Hey everybody! We hope everyone is having a safe and fun holiday weekend. Amy and I played mixologists and came up with a pretty tasty concoction. Not being green beer kind of folks, and one of us can’t sit around and drink Jameson straight, we thought we would come up with something new. So, now, here I sit drafting an entry while under the influence!
- 1 part Jameson
- 2 parts orange juice
- 1/2 part peach schnapps
- dash of bitters
- 2t simple syrup, liquid sugar in the raw, or honey
- 2 drops natural vanilla extract
- 1t chopped ginger
Mix all ingredients in shaker for 1 minute
Pour over ice and garnish with citrus slice.
We had a homemade peach infused spice rum to use in place of the schnapps. The corned beef roast is almost done. Check in early tomorrow to see what we did for a new take on Corned Beef and Cabbage. See you soon!
